In the final jury of ARCH 402-Advanced Design studio II, led by Dr. Joana Dhiamandi and Dr. Egin Zeka, students showcased their visionary designs for a new cultural center in Tirana's historic "Neighborhood of the Artist." The project aims to revitalize this significant area, originally established for artists during the communist era, by integrating vibrant art-related spaces into the existing urban fabric. The proposed center will not only serve as a hub for cultural and social activities but also enhance the quality of life in surrounding informal zones. Emphasizing civic participation and refined culture, this design project envisions a unique place for both work and relaxation, fostering a thriving community around the renowned Tulla Center and the Center of Art Creation.
