The Stakeholder Forum of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) convened for its final meeting at EPOKA University, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to enhancing graduate employability through the Erasmus+ CBHE Project, Sustainable University-Enterprise Cooperation for Improving Graduate Employability (SUCCESS).

This forum, comprised of seven esteemed members representing business entities, financial institutions, alumni, and students, serves as a vital external advisory board.

The meeting commenced with an insightful presentation by Prof. Gungor Turan, who provided an overview of current enrollment trends. Engaging participants in a rich discussion, he emphasized the need for the university’s decision-making bodies to adapt strategies that reflect evolving student preferences. A key topic of conversation was the increasing influx of international students, particularly from the Balkan region. Forum members underscored the importance of enhancing marketing efforts and participating in international education fairs to attract this demographic.

In the pursuit of excellence, the group also discussed the critical need for stronger collaboration with industry partners to ensure that graduates are effectively recruited immediately upon completion of their studies. Various strategies were proposed to help the university stand out as the leading institution in the country, emphasizing innovative approaches that differentiate its programs from those of other universities.

As the meeting ended, all participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this advisory body, highlighting the positive impact of collaborative efforts on the university’s trajectory. With mandates set to renew this year, the forum looks forward to continued engagement and support for the university’s mission in fostering sustainable university-enterprise cooperation.

This meeting not only capped off a fruitful series of discussions but also reinforced the importance of stakeholder collaboration in shaping the future of higher education and enhancing employability outcomes for graduates.
