On January 16, 2025, the Department of Law at EPOKA University had the pleasure of hosting LL.M Iva Cucllari for an open lecture titled "Introduction to the American Legal System." The event, held at EPOKA University, brought together third, fourth, and fifth-year law students for an engaging and interactive discussion about the structure and principles of the U.S. legal system.
Attorney Cucllari, an accomplished international business lawyer, brought her wealth of expertise to the discussion. She has handled high-level transactions, contracts, and significant infrastructure projects on an international scale. Her extensive experience also includes dealing with commercial and antitrust matters. In addition to her bilingual proficiency, she has managed a large portfolio of Italian clients, earning her a distinguished reputation in the field.
Ms. Cucllari’s achievements have been widely recognized, including being endorsed by IFLR1000 as a Rising Star for financial and corporate law, based on client and peer recommendations.
During the lecture, students gained practical insights into the U.S. legal and educational systems while exploring differences between American and Albanian legal frameworks.
