Mr. Altin Bora, Head of the Office of the Administrator at EPOKA University, successfully completed a Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) during April 28–30, 2025, at the German Centre for Higher Education and Science Research (DZHW), in Hannover, Germany. The visit focused on best practices in the internationalization of higher education, with special attention to social inequalities in international student mobility (ISM).
Over three days, Mr. Bora engaged with DZHW researchers on topics such as inclusive policy frameworks, data analysis (EUROSTUDENT VIII), and institutional strategies for supporting underrepresented groups in mobility programs.
The STSM achieved its objectives by strengthening research collaboration, informing Albanian higher education policies, and laying the groundwork for future initiatives, including a policy brief and potential joint projects with DZHW.
This visit marks an important step toward promoting equitable access to international education opportunities in Albania.
