EPOKA University is proud to announce that Dr. Chrysanthi Balomenou, Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Finance, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was invited as one of the Keynote Speakers at the international workshop titled "Challenges and Risks to the Development of National Economies in the European Area." The event was held on May 29, 2025, in Bucharest, Romania.
 

The workshop gathered leading scholars and researchers from across Europe to engage in critical dialogue about the region’s economic landscape. Dr. Balomenou’s keynote contribution to the Scientific Debate on “Overlapping Crises and Multiple Risks – Case Studies from Albania, Greece, and Romania” was a highlight of the event. Her insights shed light on the complex interplay of economic shocks, resilience strategies, and cross-country comparative experiences in Southeastern Europe.

The event was organized by the Institute of National Economy and featured the participation of esteemed academics and experts in the field. Dr. Balomenou expressed her gratitude to Professor Valentina Vasile, PhD, for the kind invitation and the opportunity to contribute to such an important platform for economic discourse.
