On December 20, 2012, the Head of Customer Satisfaction at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, Ms. Ermira Pengu, held an Open Forum with the students of Epoka University and presented the “University Awards for Customer Satisfaction Competition” project. This project was initiated and developed by the International Subsidiary Banks Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, and was adopted by Intesa Sanpaolo Albania in cooperation with Epoka University, the European University of Tirana and New York University of Tirana.
During her presentation, Ms. Pengu summarized the main goals of the “University Awards for Customer Satisfaction Competition”. She stated that this project was adopted in 8 group banks in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia and Slovakia and will also continue next year. Ms. Pengu stressed that the implementation of this project aims to establish a stable and effective platform and a productive partnership between the bank and local universities as well as boosting ideas and planning generation phases.
Epoka University was represented in this competition by three students from the Banking and Finance Department, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Ms. Livia Nikolla, Ms. Arselda Gjura and Mr. Çelnik Ferti. During the competition, four projects have been presented, two of them presented by Epoka University students.
Epoka University students Livia Nikolla and Arselda Gjura won the first prize for their presentation titled: “How to earn it, how to keep it? A new loyalty scheme”, which was presented in details to the students of Epoka University. Both students will also present their study case in Milano, Italy, during the forthcoming months.
