On February 1, 2022, Ms. Flogerta Hasanaj, the Quality Assurance Officer of EPOKA University held an information session for the members of Student Council concerning the “Completion of Course Instructor Evaluation Survey”. The aim of the information session was to raise the awareness among students on the importance of the survey intended to serve to the quality improvement of teaching and learning activities and study program.
Initially, the Quality Assurance Officer provided information about the structure of the survey and the judgment levels for each question. Also, the Quality Assurance Officer assured the students that the information is used in aggregate form and that the student's individual responses are anonymous. It was mentioned that all the findings feed into reports to have sound and evidence-based decision-making by the responsible governing bodies of the university. All the members of the student council are responsible to convey the information to the student of their respective classes given that they are class representatives as well.
At the end of the session, the students raised issues related to the survey, which will be shared with the Rector’s Office and the Chairperson of the Permanent Commission on Quality Assurance for following up.
