On 11 July 2023, Prof. Anna Beitane, Manager of Online Learning and Continuous Education Projects at the J. Skytte Institute of Political Studies, University of Tartu (Estonia) in collaboration with the Political Science Department and COWEB Project, delivered a workshop to the teaching staff of EPOKA University.
In a rapidly evolving digital era, educational institutions are embracing the power of digital technologies and innovative teaching pedagogies to revolutionize the learning experience. Integrating these cutting-edge tools and approaches enables educators to engage students in new and exciting ways, preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century.
Ms. Beitane discussed the latest trends in innovative teaching pedagogies, including formats such as virtual exchange, blended intensive programs, and micro-credentials. The workshop consisted of an introductory lecture and had interactive group work, which helped participants get some hands-on experience in developing and implementing various innovative pedagogies.
