“Hi! I’m Mikol, an Italian student from the Universita per Stranieri di Perugia. The exchange experience is something I always wanted to pursue, but I never thought Albania could be an option. However, as soon as the available destinations were announced, EPOKA immediately caught my eye. I was interested in experiencing this adventure in an unusual destination and was extremely excited to discover the country.
At EPOKA University, I encountered a completely different learning method than what I was used to.
While it was sometimes challenging, it helped me grow academically and linguistically something I’m truly grateful for. Albania is a unique country where I will leave a piece of my heart. It was a pleasure to learn the history, traditions, food, and culture, as well as to experience the kindness and hospitality of the people. Four months passed too quickly, and my experience is almost over, but I will return home with the awareness of having fully lived this adventure, having met beautiful people. I am sure that I will soon come back again.”
I want to take this moment to express my deep appreciation and thank you to EPOKA University for hosting and facilitating our wonderful EPOKA conference last week.
