EPOKA University, in partnership with the Technical University of Dresden (TUD), successfully hosted the Hy-PER Project – Hybrid Summer School Training in Tirana from March 2nd to March 6th, 2026, marking a significant milestone in international academic collaboration. This five-day intensive program utilized a hybrid format to immerse participants in the full lifecycle of modern education design, bridging the gap between theoretical foundations and practical digital application.
The program commenced with a high-level collaboration between TUD experts and Brain Nest Institute team, setting the stage for an intensive focus on transformative pedagogical concepts including Collaborative and Blended Learning, the Flipped Classroom model, and the strategic development of Case Study Design. Attendees engaged in hands-on workshops involving Digital Competencies, E-tutoring, and Formative Assessment, ultimately integrating these clusters to develop concrete hybrid curricula. The event reached a successful conclusion led by the TU Dresden team and the EPOKA Team, who facilitated a final reflection and evaluation session that left participants equipped with the advanced digital tools necessary to shape the future of PhD education and research.
