The Sustainability for Future (S4F) Meet-Up officially launched at EPOKA University, bringing together partners from across Europe within the EIT Urban Mobility initiative. The gathering marks an important step in strengthening collaboration and advancing sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.

The first day opened with welcoming remarks by the Rector of Epoka University Prof. Dr. Huseyin Bilgin, and an introduction to the host institution, setting the tone for a collaborative and forward-looking exchange. Throughout the day, partners reflected on progress achieved so far, aligned on priorities for the next phase of the project, and engaged in interactive discussions on enhancing learning modules, incubation activities, and evaluation approaches.

Rather than focusing on individual sessions, the day emphasized shared learning, exchange of experiences, and co-creation, reinforcing the project’s mission to connect universities, innovation actors, and ecosystems across Europe. Particular attention was given to integrating sustainability more deeply into entrepreneurship education and startup support mechanisms, in close connection with the Start for Future ecosystem.

The day concluded with a site visit to Blerina’s Farm, where participants were warmly welcomed by Blerina Bombaj. The visit offered a practical and inspiring perspective on sustainable and regenerative farming, linking the project’s themes with real-world applications. Discussions at the farm highlighted the importance of local initiatives, circular practices, and environmentally responsible entrepreneurship in building resilient ecosystems.

Bringing together partners such as VIA University College (Denmark), Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Germany), University West (Sweden), Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), Gentrepreneur (Belgium), PowerHub (Czechia), Tecnocampus (Spain), Bratislava University of Economics and Business (Slovakia), and EPOKA University (Albania), the Sustainability for Future project continues to foster cross-border collaboration and innovation.

The Tirana meet-up will continue over the coming days with further workshops and ecosystem engagement activities, aimed at turning ideas into concrete actions and long-term impact.
