EPOKA University was pleased to host Mr. Ben Swagerman, EU prosecutorial advisor and former Dutch prosecutor, accompanied by Mr. Idlir Peçi, for a meeting with the University leadership ahead of the Open Lecture on “Justice Reform and its Impact on Albania’s EU Accession Process.”
The guests were hosted by the Rector of EPOKA University, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Bilgin, together with the leaders of the institution, including the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FLSS), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Isa Erbas, and Dr. Gentian Skara, Dr. Niuton Mulleti, and Dr. Esmir Demaj.
The discussion focused on the contribution of higher education to justice reform, the importance of institutional capacity and professional culture, and the value of strengthening links between academia and EU-level practice.
