On April 15, students of the BUS 314 – Import and Export Management course had the opportunity to gain valuable industry insights on international trade from Ms. Eleana Kadiasi, alumna of our IML program and currently working as an Import-Export Operations Specialist at Kadiu 2005 Shpk.
Organized within the framework of the course led by Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Aras, with the support of Teaching Assistant Angela Bajrami, the session focused on the practical application of international trade concepts in real business environments. Students developed a clearer understanding of how import-export operations are managed in Albania, including collaboration with international partners and the coordination of trade activities.
Drawing from her professional experience, Ms. Kadiasi shared real-life examples of managing trade operations, handling documentation, and applying Incoterms in daily practice. She also emphasized the importance of cultural awareness in building effective global partnerships.
Reflecting on her academic journey, she highlighted how the Import and Export Management course provided essential knowledge that continues to support her work in the industry.
