Students of the Business Administration and Int. Marketing and Logistics Management study programs recently had the opportunity to visit the Bank of Albania as part of an educational field experience organized by Assoc. Prof. Nargyza Alymkulova in the Macroeconomics course, with coordination and support from teaching assistant, Ms. Rilinda Korbi.
The visit was designed to connect classroom learning with real-world economic institutions and provide students with practical insights into macroeconomic concepts.
During the visit, students explored the historical exhibition “Money Talks: 100 Years of Life and Events, Bank of Albania (1925–2025)”, which presents the evolution of Albania’s monetary history through documents, photographs, and historical artifacts. The exhibition offered valuable insights into the development of Albania’s financial system and the central bank's important role in the country’s economic history.
The group also visited the Museum of the Bank of Albania, where students learned more about the institution’s functions, monetary policy, currency development, and the broader role of central banking in maintaining economic stability.
This visit provided an enriching academic experience, allowing students to deepen their understanding of macroeconomic concepts through direct exposure to Albania’s central banking institution while strengthening the practical application of concepts discussed in class.
