The Department of Political Science and International Relations at Epoka University is proud to announce an important milestone in its commitment to academic excellence, international collaboration, and student development.
We are delighted to share that the Tempus Public Foundation, the Hungarian National Agency, has awarded funding for cooperation between Epoka University and Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary, under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme for the 2026–2029 project cycle.
This achievement represents more than an international partnership. It is a meaningful investment in our students, our academic community, and the future of political science and international relations. Through this collaboration, new opportunities will emerge for students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff to exchange knowledge, explore new perspectives, strengthen research, and experience academic life in an international environment.
For our students, international mobility offers the chance to grow beyond the classroom, engage with different academic traditions, develop intercultural understanding, and build the skills and confidence needed to contribute to an increasingly interconnected world.
The project is scheduled to run from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2029, with the first mobility opportunities potentially becoming available in the fall semester of the 2027–2028 academic year, subject to the completion of the necessary administrative procedures and selection process.
The funded opportunities include student mobility for studies, traineeships, short-term doctoral mobility, and teaching mobility for academic staff.
Eligible participants will benefit from Erasmus+ financial support in accordance with the programme’s established conditions.
At the Department of Political Science and International Relations, we believe that education reaches its greatest potential when knowledge crosses borders, ideas inspire dialogue, and opportunities empower individuals to discover what they can achieve.
We are proud to take this step forward with Eötvös Loránd University and look forward to transforming this partnership into meaningful academic experiences, lasting connections, and new possibilities for our university community.
A new chapter begins. New perspectives await. And our commitment remains the same: to empower our students to think critically, engage globally, and shape the future.
