The Department of Architecture at EPOKA University successfully concluded the First Semester Final Juries for ARCH 101, ARCH 201, ARCH 301, and ARCH 401, bringing together students, faculty members, and invited professionals for the presentation and evaluation of semester projects.
ARCH 101 focused on design interventions within the historic context of Elbasan Castle, introducing first-year students to architectural thinking through contextual analysis and spatial exploration.
ARCH 201, ARCH 301, and ARCH 401 developed architectural and urban proposals in Shtime, Kosovo, exploring themes of urban integration, programmatic complexity, and contextual responsiveness through the design of House+, a Multifunctional Hotel, and Urban Redevelopment strategies. Students critically engaged with the city’s spatial, social, and cultural layers, proposing interventions that address existing conditions while envisioning sustainable and forward-looking development scenarios.
The Final Juries provided a platform for critical discussion and assessment, highlighting the progressive development of design skills across all academic years and reinforcing the department’s commitment to excellence in architectural education.
