Serena Bejaj, enrolled in the Business Informatics study programme at EPOKA University, recently completed an Erasmus+ mobility at Charles University in Prague during the Spring Semester 2026.
For Serena, the mobility was her first experience of living abroad for an extended period and provided an opportunity to experience a new academic environment, meet students from different countries, and develop greater independence.
Beyond her studies, Serena explored Prague and travelled across Europe, visiting Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, Dresden, and Paris. These experiences allowed her to discover new cultures, meet new people, and create lasting memories.
Although adapting to life abroad and managing university responsibilities brought challenges, the experience helped Serena become more confident, independent, and resilient.
Looking back, Serena describes her Erasmus+ experience as much more than studying abroad, it was a journey of personal growth, academic development, cultural discovery, and unforgettable experiences. Prague became a special place for her, and she is grateful for the opportunity to have spent a semester there.
