In February 2026, the Innovators Club at EPOKA University successfully organized the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Innovation Bootcamp, a four-day intensive program held on 18–19–20 and 23 February. The bootcamp aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students and encourage them to develop innovative startup ideas addressing real sustainability challenges.
The program was led by Kei Hysi, an EPOKA University alumna with academic and professional experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, including studies at the Technical University of Munich and professional experience at UnternehmerTUM in Munich. Through interactive workshops and team-based activities, students were introduced to key entrepreneurship concepts such as problem identification, design thinking, idea validation, business model development, and pitching.
Participants worked in interdisciplinary teams to develop startup concepts, progressing from problem identification to structured solutions. On the final day, representatives from Startup Albania Agency delivered an info session on the national startup ecosystem, funding opportunities, and support mechanisms for young entrepreneurs. Students then presented their final startup pitches, showcasing their solutions, target markets, business models, and sustainability impact. One team was selected as the winning group based on innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.
The bootcamp successfully achieved its objectives by enabling students to develop concrete startup ideas and enhancing their understanding of entrepreneurship and sustainability. Overall, the activity contributed significantly to strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship culture at EPOKA University and empowering students to become future entrepreneurs and changemakers.
