On Monday, October 6, 2025, EPOKA University officially launched the 2025–2026 academic year with a lively and memorable Welcome Ceremony. The event gathered academic and administrative staff, returning students, and newly enrolled freshmen, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere that reflected the university’s strong sense of community.

The ceremony was skillfully moderated by student Kristina Krraba and featured a dynamic program of speeches, cultural performances, and interactive activities. Together, these elements highlighted the university’s core values—community, learning, and personal development.

In his opening address, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin BİLGİN extended a heartfelt welcome to all attendees. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and active community engagement. Emphasizing EPOKA’s guiding principles—learning, leadership, and a global vision—he offered special encouragement to first-year students, urging them to immerse themselves in campus life and make the most of every academic and personal opportunity.

The program continued with remarks from Student Council representative Sidrit Rrustemi, followed by an inspiring speech from alumna Iris Nika. Sharing her journey as a graduate, she reflected on her experiences and motivated students to pursue growth and resilience throughout their university years.

Adding a vibrant cultural touch, the ceremony featured traditional music and dance performances that brought energy and color to the event. The celebration concluded on a high note with closing remarks and an exciting DJ session, where students enjoyed karaoke and dancing—marking the beginning of the academic year with enthusiasm and joy.
