About the Speaker

Julia K. Skupchenko is an Award-Winning Entrepreneur and Sustainability Leader with 14 years of experience in the field. She is the co-founder of the Think Tank AlterContacts where she is leading SDG Acceleration Actions recognized by the United Nations and awarded by the European Parliament. Julia is a guest lecturer on Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam. She is an author of 50+ articles on sustainable entrepreneurship and social innovation, incl. for Barents Encyclopedia and Entrepreneur magazine. Julia has been a facilitator and guest speaker at 100+ conferences, including the United Nations Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Day 2021 and UN High-Level Political Forum 2023. She was awarded Gold as Hero of the Year 2020 and 2022 and Woman of the Year in 2021.
