The Department of Architecture at EPOKA University is pleased to host a distinguished guest lecture titled Architectural Rêveries, delivered by Prof. Orazio Carpenzano, Full Professor of Architectural Design at Sapienza University of Rome.
As Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Director of the Doctoral School in Architectural Sciences, and a prolific scholar, Prof. Carpenzano brings a wealth of expertise in architectural and urban design. His work explores the intersections of memory, history, imagination, and space—bridging restoration and innovation in compelling new ways.
In this lecture, Prof. Carpenzano will present two recent projects that exemplify contemporary approaches to architectural storytelling:
Through these case studies, the lecture will explore how architecture can serve as a medium to revitalize cultural memory and offer new layers of meaning to historical spaces.
