The Department of Law at Epoka University, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology at the University of Tirana, successfully held an open forum on the topic of “Conflict Resolution through Mediation.”
The event featured Dr. Eglantina Farruku and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brunilda Zenelaga, who brought professional perspectives from the fields of law and sociology.
Dr. Farruku provided a clear and comprehensive overview of the concept and importance of mediation as an alternative mechanism for resolving conflicts, highlighting its benefits compared to traditional judicial procedures.
Assoc. Prof. Zenelaga shared her over 20 years of experience in the field of mediation, presenting concrete cases and practical insights that enriched the discussion and engaged the participants.
Law students actively participated in the forum, contributing to discussions and reflections on the role of mediation within the justice system and society.
This event was organized as part of the departments’ efforts to create a space for academic debate and professional exchange, aiming to promote a culture of dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution.
