We are proud to share that Dr. Arjona Lami (Çela) participated in the 7th Research & Innovation Forum (Rii Forum), held from 23 to 26 April 2025 at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in Barcelona, Spain.
Rii Forum is a leading interdisciplinary conference that brings together researchers, academics, and practitioners to explore the role of technology, innovation, and education in building competitive, sustainable, and resilient societies. The 2025 edition focused on “Competitiveness, Sustainable Growth, and Innovation,” offered a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and international collaboration.
Dr. Arjona Lami contributed to the forum by presenting the research paper titled “From Waste to Wealth: An Exploration of Young Adults’ Perception and Practices of Circular Economy in Their Everyday Consumption Behavior in Albania”, together with Epoka University student, Ariadni Harri. Their work offers valuable insights into how youth in Albania understand and engage with circular economy principles, such as recycling, reusing, and sustainable consumption, and highlights the social, cultural, and structural factors that influence their behaviors.
