EPOKA University officially opened the 2025–2026 Academic Year with a Welcome Ceremony held on Monday, October 6, 2025. The event gathered faculty members, staff, continuing students, and newly admitted freshmen in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Moderated by student Kristina Krraba, the ceremony featured speeches, performances, and interactive activities celebrating the spirit of community, growth, and learning that defines EPOKA.
In his opening address, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin BİLGİN, Rector of EPOKA University, expressed his warm welcome to all students and staff. He emphasized the university’s continued commitment to excellence, innovation, and community, highlighting EPOKA’s core values of learning, leadership, and global vision. A special greeting was dedicated to the freshmen, encouraging them to embrace this new academic journey, engage actively in campus life, and make the most of every opportunity to grow both personally and academically.
The program continued with a speech by Sidrit Rrustemi, representative of the Student Council, followed by an alumni address from Iris Nika, who shared her experiences and reflections as a proud EPOKA graduate.
The event also included traditional dance and song performances, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the ceremony. The morning concluded with closing remarks and a DJ performance featuring karaoke and dance, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere for students to celebrate the beginning of the academic year.
Throughout the event, club and company stands were available on campus, giving students the chance to explore EPOKA’s extracurricular activities and external partnerships.
The Welcome Ceremony once again reflected EPOKA University’s dedication to academic excellence, student success, and community spirit — marking the start of another promising year ahead.
