Civil Engineering students recently completed a site visit to the Kadiu construction site, hosted by the construction firm Kontakt.
During the visit, Kontakt’s team of architects and engineers briefed the students on the technical and operational aspects of the development. The professionals detailed the project lifecycle, sharing their expertise on design processes, site management, and the practical implementation of construction works.
The site visit allowed the students to observe active construction phases directly. Furthermore, the site engineers introduced the students to the specific industry standards and structural technologies currently utilised in real-world development projects.
These visits are a standard component of the university's civil engineering programme, designed to supplement coursework with direct exposure to industry operations.
