The Department of Business Administration at EPOKA University held Academic Advisor Meetings for first-year students of Business Administration (BUS), International Marketing and Logistics Management (IML), and Business Informatics (BINF) on 7–8 October.
The meetings brought together students, their Academic Advisors, and department lecturers to introduce the Department, its academic staff, and the University’s culture. Students received guidance on university life and were encouraged to approach their studies with motivation, take an active role in their learning, and work toward their academic and personal goals.
To make the sessions more interactive, students took part in a Kahoot quiz to test their knowledge of the information shared during their first weeks at EPOKA University.
These meetings reflect the Department’s commitment to supporting students as they transition from high school to university. By helping them understand the resources available and the role of their Academic Advisors, the Department aims to ensure that students feel welcomed, supported, and ready to make the most of their three-year academic journey.
