Ami Toshi, enrolled in the Business Informatics study programme at EPOKA University, recently completed an Erasmus+ mobility at Charles University in Prague, gaining valuable academic, cultural, and personal experiences.
During the mobility, Ami attended courses including Statistics, Data Analytics, Strategic Management, and Software Engineering, experiencing a different academic environment that encouraged independence, responsibility, and new ways of learning. The opportunity to interact with professors and international students also provided valuable insights into different academic and cultural perspectives.
Beyond the classroom, Prague became a place of discovery. Ami explored the city, its architecture, parks, and vibrant atmosphere, while meeting people from diverse cultural backgrounds. The mobility also offered the opportunity to travel across Europe, with visits to Paris, Berlin, Budapest, and Vienna, as well as memorable trips into nature with friends.
One of the most valuable lessons from the Erasmus+ experience was learning to become more independent. Living abroad required Ami to manage responsibilities, solve problems, adapt to new situations, and make decisions independently. These challenges ultimately strengthened confidence and personal growth.
Reflecting on the experience, Ami highlights how Erasmus+ broadened their perspective and showed them the many opportunities that exist beyond familiar surroundings.
Ami encourages other students to take advantage of Erasmus+ opportunities, describing mobility not only as an academic experience, but also as a chance to discover new cultures, meet people from around the world, challenge yourself, and grow both personally and professionally.
