Digitalization in higher education is becoming a serious reality because such technologies bring efficiency and effectiveness in education. The new generation of students is tech-savvy and ready to adopt new technologies. To meet the rising demand, professional companies are developing technology-based tools and techniques to modernize traditional education systems. Despite the appeal of such tools and systems, much discussion is ongoing on the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. Institutions are still struggling to adopt these technologies into their current educational systems, and educators may not be adequately acquainted with these technologies to include them in their teaching methods.
The purpose of this training is to familiarize EPOKA University academic staff on the developments in this area and create a platform of discussion on the benefits and drawbacks of digitalization in higher education.
The training will be held on September 25th -26th , 2019, according to the Agenda.
