Candidates must:
Have a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (for first-year students, a high school CGPA of at least 7.50 out of 10 or equivalent)
Have no disciplinary sanctions on record
According to Article 9 of the Student Council Statute, members are elected every two years by student votes and in compliance with university legislation.
Vacant mandates caused by graduation, transfer, or other reasons are filled by the candidate who ranked second in the previous election, serving until the end of the term.
Per Article 10 of the Student Council Statute, elected representatives participate in university decision-making bodies: the President and First Vice-President sit on the Academic Senate, while two representatives serve on the Permanent Commission on Student Relations.
