On January 17, 2024, EPOKA University had the honor of welcoming the Ambassador of Japan to Albania, Mrs. KATO Kikuko, along with Mr. TSUBOI Kohei from the Department of Culture and Press at the Embassy of Japan.
Ambassador KATO Kikuko was warmly received by the Rector of EPOKA University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş; the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Niuton Mulleti; the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lisen Bashkurti; and the Dean of Students, Dr. Sadullah Yilmaz.
During this visit, discussions centered on potential collaborations between EPOKA University and the Embassy of Japan. Topics included the organization of open lectures, joint activities, and the opportunities that Japan offers to EPOKA students, such as scholarships and job prospects.
Additionally, the conversation highlighted the promotion of shared Albanian-Japanese values and the importance of fostering a new generation equipped to work across borders. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality and competitiveness of Albania's education, research, and innovation landscape.
