EPOKAUniversity is pleased to announce the Second In-Person Meeting of its International Advisory Board (IAB), which will take place in Tirana from April 29 to May 1, 2025. The meeting will bring together prominent international experts in higher education, research, and innovation to provide strategic guidance on the university’s institutional development.
The IAB includes esteemed members such as Mr. David Lock (Magna Charta Observatory), Prof. Dr. Hans Jurgen Hoyer (Global Engineering Deans Council), Prof. Dr. Michael Murphy (Past President of the European University Association), Prof. Dr. Arben Merkoci (ICREA and Institut Català de Nanotecnologia), and Prof. Dr. Florian J. Schweigert (Turkish-German University, BioAnalyt GmbH).
The agenda features high-level consultations on unit strategies with the leadership and academic staff of all faculties, including the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Strategic topics to be discussed include enhancing the quality of teaching and research, increasing international visibility, improving student enrolment, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening external funding and research collaborations.
