In alignment with the strategic objective of enhancing international academic cooperation, representatives from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași (TUIASI), Romania, conducted an official visit to EPOKA University in Tirana, Albania, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
The academic representatives from TUIASI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ionuț-Ovidiu Toma, Dr. Ana-Maria Toma, and Dr. Oana-Mihaela Banu, engaged in a series of formal discussions with senior members of Epoka University, including Dr. Niuton Mulleti, Vice Rector, Dr. Armando Demaj, Head of the International Relations Office, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirjam Ndini, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, which formalizes their mutual intent to collaborate on a broad range of academic and research activities. The MoU outlines cooperation in the following areas:
