The Department of Law at EPOKA University, in collaboration with the Albanian Foundation for Conflict Resolution and Dispute Reconciliation (AFCR), is organizing a workshop titled “Youth Voices for Restorative Conflict Resolution” on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, at EPOKA University, Eagle Room (E-Building).
This event is part of the regional project “Promoting Restorative Practices and Mediation in Conflict Resolution among Youth,” implemented by AFCR in partnership with the Women in Science Network – North Macedonia and NGO ISKRA – Montenegro, and supported by RYCO’s 6th Open Call for CSO project proposals “RYCOnnecting You(th)”.
The workshop, led by Dr. Eglantina Farruku, Lecturer at the Department of Law, and Ms. Merita Bala, Executive Director of AFCR, will begin at 09:45 a.m. The program includes interactive discussions and engaging presentations on mediation, restorative approaches, and youth-led initiatives in conflict resolution.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from conflict resolution and mediation experts, such as Ms. Mirela Tahiraj, as well as young representatives who will share their experiences and mini-campaigns developed during regional and local activities.
The workshop aims to empower youth as active contributors to peacebuilding and conflict resolution, fostering dialogue and understanding across the Western Balkans.
