Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 officially launched on November 17 in Albania with a dynamic opening ceremony that brought together key actors from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, public institutions, founders, and international partners. The event set the stage for a week dedicated to data-driven discussions, innovation, and forward-looking activities.
Epoka University proudly joined Startup Albania as a co-organizer of this year’s GEW, an edition centered on sustainability, responsible innovation, and green transformation. The ceremony was greeted by prominent figures, including the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj; Director General of Startup Albania, Mr. Arjan Ymeri; Ambassador of Sweden to Albania, Mr. Niklas Ström; CEO of Balfin Group, Mrs. Edlira Muka; Project Manager of EU for Innovation, Mr. Michael Oos; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Epoka University.
Representing Epoka University and the academic sector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja underlined the university’s strong commitment to preparing the next generation of sustainable entrepreneurs. She emphasized that the future of entrepreneurship is not solely about technological advancement but about fostering responsible, green, and long-lasting value creation.
