Epoka University recently hosted Julia Skupchenko, an Award-Winning Entrepreneur and Sustainability Leader with 14 years of experience in the field, and co-founder of the Think Tank AlterContacts (Netherlands) where she is leading SDG Acceleration Actions recognized by the United Nations and awarded by the European Parliament, for a visit that included a masterclass, strategic meetings, and a mentorship session.

During her visit, Ms. Skupchenko met with the Rector of Epoka University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja to explore potential collaboration opportunities, focusing on fostering sustainability-driven entrepreneurship within the academic community. The discussion aimed at strengthening ties between the university and industry, ensuring that students gain real-world insights and practical experience.

As part of her engagement, Ms. Skupchenko delivered a masterclass on Sustainable Entrepreneurship, where she shared her expertise on integrating sustainability principles into business models. The session attracted a diverse audience of students and faculty members eager to explore how entrepreneurship can drive positive environmental and social impact.

Additionally, within the Industry Mentoring Program of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Ms. Skupchenko held a dedicated meeting with the three students she will mentor this semester. This mentorship initiative will provide students with guidance on career development, entrepreneurial thinking, and sustainable business strategies.
