Industry Speaker Series: Insights with Vodafone's Head of Brand and Media, Ms. Ariola Mata

On April 30th, students of the BUS 352 – International Marketing for Multinational Enterprises course had the opportunity to gain industry insights from Ms. Ariola Mata, Head of Brand and Media at Vodafone Albania.

Organized within the framework of the course led by Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Aras, with the support of TA Ms. Angela Bajrami, this Industry Speaker Series session focused on how international marketing strategies are applied in practice by multinational companies across different markets.

Drawing from her experience, Ms. Ariola Mata shared real-life examples of how Vodafone adapts global strategies to local contexts, highlighting the importance of cultural understanding, consumer behavior, and digital communication in building strong brand connections. She also discussed current trends such as influencer marketing, data-driven strategies, and the challenges of maintaining engagement in a fast-changing digital environment.
