On 30 June 2026, EPOKA University welcomed Prof. Dr. János Lógó, Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, for an academic meeting focused on exploring future cooperation between the two institutions.
Prof. Dr. János Lógó is affiliated with the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Structural Mechanics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The university is one of Hungary’s leading technical institutions, with a long academic tradition in engineering, technology, and applied sciences.
EPOKA University was represented by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bilgin, Rector of EPOKA University; Dr. Armando Demaj, Head of the International Relations Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edmond Manahasa, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirjam Ndini, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering.
During the meeting, the Rector presented EPOKA University, highlighting its academic profile, international orientation, research activities, and teaching development. The discussion focused on potential cooperation in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, with particular emphasis on structural mechanics, joint research, academic exchange, and future institutional collaboration.
The visit provided an important opportunity to establish new academic links between EPOKA University and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, while opening possibilities for future cooperation in teaching, research, and international academic mobility.
