On 13^th April 2022 Yunus Center for Social Business and Sustainability of Epoka University organized an “Info and Discussion Session” with Mr. Gerti Boshnjaku, Entrepreneur and Manager of several companies in the field of Technology, Marketing & PR. The session was held at 11:30 at the Conference Hall of Epoka University. During the session Mr. Boshnjaku presented the AlbaniaTech Platform and he explained how this unique platform gathers the Albanian ecosystem of startups and innovation. He explained how this platform serves as a great contributor for the entrepreneurial aspect in the country and how it promotes Albania in the eyes of foreign investors. The platform is established in the form of a database of start-up companies, list of active entrepreneurs, their business traction, supportive programs institutions, mentorship / training / accelerating / incubation programs that operate at the national and/or regional level. Mr. Boshnjaku invited all the students to navigate through it, as this platform is quite helpful to them (different entrepreneurial activities posted on the platform can be very useful to students). Furthermore, another important part of the session was the presentation to the students the “Business Magazine”, an interesting magazine that can help everyone (students as well) get to know more about business, innovation, startups and so much more. The platform and the magazine give a world of opportunities for anyone who thinks, aspires or dreams of starting their own entrepreneurial journey or who likes the business world!

Another important aspect of the session was presentation of Praktika.al from the Project Manager Mrs. Enejda Oshafi. Praktika.al is an interesting startup which, through an online application, aims to start and consolidate the relationship between different businesses and students through the realization of professional internships. With the support of the university, this professional practice is the first tool that orients students towards their first professional employment. During the session, students were very curious regarding this innovative startup, because it helps them a lot with their future professional career experiences.

Overall, the session was very interesting filled with important information and full of great innovative concepts.
