During March 02-06, 2020, Dr. Niuton Mulleti participated at the Teaching Mobility program in the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Agreement signed between EPOKA University and the University of Salerno (UNISA) in Italy.
In this context, Dr. Mulleti delivered lectures on EU Law, Institutions and Policies to the students of the integrated 5-year program in Law offered by the Department of Legal Sciences (School of Law) of UNISA.
On the occasion of the visit to UNISA, Dr. Niuton Mulleti also participated at the Inaugural Conference of the Jean Monnet Module titled “EU-Western Balkans Cooperation on Justice and Home Affairs” (EUWEB) held on March 02, 2020, where he delivered a presentation on the EU Enlargement Process and the Protection of Fundamental Rights. The EUWEB Jean Monnet Module is managed by the Department of Legal Sciences (School of Law) of UNISA with Dr. Teresa Russo as a Module Leader as well as Dr. Anna Oriolo and Dr. Gaspare Dalia acting as Key Staff Members. EPOKA University is a partner institution at the EUWEB Jean Monnet Module.
On March 06, 2020, in the framework of the first lecture series under the EUWEB Jean Monnet Module, Dr. Mulleti delivered a lecture titled “Linkages between the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy & Justice and Home Affairs: the case of the EULEX mission in Kosovo”.
During his visit to UNISA, Dr. Niuton Mulleti also held meetings with the faculty members from the Department of Legal Sciences (School of Law) of UNISA where the detailed work plan already agreed upon in November 2019 was further elaborated with a view to the expansion of bilateral cooperation between the Department of Legal Sciences (School of Law) of UNISA and the Department of Law (Faculty of Law and Social Sciences) of EPOKA University.
