On February 24, 2025, the Rector of EPOKA University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, conducted an official visit to the University of Potsdam, in Germany, where he was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Oliver Günther, President of the University of Potsdam, and Ms. Larisa Subasic, Study Abroad Advisor.

During the meeting, Prof. Öztaş expressed his gratitude for their hospitality and had the opportunity to present an overview of EPOKA University. He also provided detailed insights into the scientific and cultural collaborations between EPOKA University and the University of Potsdam.

EPOKA University and the University of Potsdam signed a Memorandum of Understanding in October 2023, which served as a platform for the organization of joint activities.

1. EPOKA University in collaboration with the University of Potsdam, in Germany (Technology Transfer Office - Startup Service) organized a transformative workshop titled "Coaching and Staff Training," organized by the Technology Transfer Office's Startup Service. Over two days, on January 15-16, 2024, staff members from EPOKA University participated in an immersive experience to foster a shared understanding of entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer within the institution.
2. EPOKA University in collaboration with the Startup Service, University of Potsdam organized the Winter Competition, TUNG IDEVE for High Schoolers in Tirana during February 21-23, 2024. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 53 high school students, organized into 12 groups, showcasing their innovation and entrepreneurial skills.
3. EPOKA University in collaboration with the Startup Service, University of Potsdam will organize the Winter Competition, TUNG IDEVE for High Schoolers in Albania and Kosova during February 26-28, 2025. Around 100 high school students, organized into 15 groups, are expected to participate in this event.

Furthermore, the discussions focused on exploring potential avenues for further academic cooperation between the two institutions, reinforcing their commitment to fostering international collaboration in higher education.
