Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edmond Manahasa and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Odeta Manahasa participated in a teaching mobility at the University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz, Poland, as part of ongoing international academic collaboration in the field of architecture.
During their stay, the professors had the opportunity to closely observe the teaching methodologies applied at the host institution, particularly those used in the education of young architects. This experience enabled a valuable exchange of pedagogical practices and academic approaches.
As part of their academic engagement, Prof. Edmond Manahasa and Prof. Odeta Manahasa delivered lectures presenting the historical background and recent architectural developments in Tirana. They also contributed to the academic evaluation process by serving on the jury for first-year student projects.
In addition, they were actively involved in second and third year design studios, as well as in the diploma studio, where they shared their professional expertise and academic experience with students and faculty members.
During the visit, they held meetings with the staff of the Department of Architecture and with the Head of the program, Prof. PhD Eng. Architect Joanna Sokołowska Moskwiak, to whom they expressed their sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality, excellent organization, and commitment to fostering future collaboration.
The professors were also received by the Rector of the university, Dr. Paweł Strózik, with whom they discussed opportunities to further strengthen and expand institutional cooperation.
This mobility represents an important step in enhancing international partnerships and promoting knowledge exchange in architectural education.
