EPOKA University is pleased to announce the successful participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirela Alhasani and Dr. Avdi Smajljaj in the Erasmus+ International Staff Week, hosted by University of Tartu, Estonia, from 25–29 May 2026. The international event brought together academic and administrative staff from universities across Europe, Asia, Africa, New Zealand and other regions, providing a dynamic platform for professional exchange, institutional networking, and the sharing of best practices in higher education internationalization.
The week-long programme offered participants a comprehensive overview of the University of Tartu’s internationalization strategies, educational innovations, and Erasmus+ cooperation initiatives. Sessions focused on key topics such as lifelong learning, digital and e-learning solutions, international cooperation, Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility, student support services, international marketing, and recruitment strategies. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the university’s modern facilities, including the Delta Centre, and engage with experts responsible for the institution’s international projects and educational development.
Throughout the programme, our EPOKA professors from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences actively exchanged experiences with colleagues from a wide range of higher education institutions worldwide. The event fostered meaningful discussions on current challenges and opportunities facing universities, including digital transformation, student mobility, intercultural engagement, and the growing importance of international partnerships in advancing educational quality and innovation.
This mobility reflects EPOKA University’s ongoing commitment to internationalization, academic excellence, and active engagement in European and global higher education initiatives.
