As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and within the framework of the
GreenWB Erasmus+ CBHE Project, EPOKA University has recently implemented two important
initiatives aimed at promoting a more environmentally responsible campus.
Water filter stations have been installed across the university campus, providing students and
staff with easy access to safe drinking water. This initiative encourages the use of reusable
water bottles and contributes to reducing the consumption of single-use plastic bottles and
glasses, helping minimize plastic waste and the University's environmental footprint.
In parallel, EPOKA University has renewed and upgraded its campus waste bins, creating a
cleaner and more organized environment while fostering greater awareness of responsible
waste disposal practices among the university community.
These initiatives reflect EPOKA University's ongoing dedication to integrating sustainability into
campus life and align also with the objectives of the GreenWB project, which seeks to
strengthen sustainable practice and to support green innovation and entrepreneurial
