Students of the International Marketing and Logistics Management (IML) program at EPOKA University successfully participated in Culture Day, an event dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue, and global understanding within the university community.

As part of the BUS208 – Intercultural Understanding course, IML students had the opportunity to transform their classroom learning into a real-life intercultural experience by representing different countries and sharing their traditions, values, history, and cultural characteristics with fellow students, academic staff, and visitors.

Through carefully prepared cultural stands, presentations, decorations, traditional elements, and interactive activities, students created engaging spaces that allowed participants to explore different cultures and gain a deeper appreciation of global diversity.

The event served as an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their communication, teamwork, creativity, and organizational skills while developing a better understanding of cultural differences and similarities.

Through their participation, IML students demonstrated the importance of intercultural competence in today’s interconnected world, particularly for future professionals working in international business environments. Culture Day reflected the values promoted within the International Marketing and Logistics Management program, where understanding different markets, societies, and cultural contexts is essential for successful global collaboration.
