Following the initial focus on institutional research, the EPOKA University delegation continued its mission at the University of Rome Tor Vergata by engaging in discipline-specific dialogues across the Schools of Economics, Law, and Engineering.
The second day featured a visit to the School of Economics, where the team met with the Dean Prof. Lucia Leonelli to discuss extending the current framework of collaboration. During this session, Prof. Gianluca Mattarocci presented the diverse activities of the Department of Business Administration and Economics. A centerpiece of his presentation was the upcoming scientific activity, International Week in Tirana “The Tokenised Economy and Law" (scheduled for May 21–27, 2026 at EPOKA University), an intellectual platform designed to address the transformative impact of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLT) on modern economic and legal systems.
The mobility culminated on the third day with a series of high-level meetings across multiple departments. The delegation met with Professor Marco Fioravanti, Ms. Chiara Montanari, and the Ms. Ester Duro from the School of Law to discuss legal academic exchange. Parallel discussions were held with Ilaria Giannetti, representing Architecture and Construction, and Professor Michele Angelaccio from the informatics sector. These cross-disciplinary engagements, all coordinated and moderated by Professor Mattarocci, underscore the commitment of both EPOKA University and Tor Vergata University to fostering a multi-faceted and innovative academic partnership.
