Students of the Department of Architecture at EPOKA University, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edmond Manahasa, were tasked with creating architectural physical maquettes of historical monuments, as part of their term project in the ARCH 223: History of Art and Architecture II course.
The models produced represent various architectural styles and periods covered in the course, including Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, as well as Late Medieval styles such as Neo-classicism and Romanticism.
In collaborative groups, the students successfully created 20 detailed models of significant historical monuments. This hands-on project allowed them to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the architectural features that define these important structures, enhancing their grasp of the diverse and influential periods in architectural history.
