EPOKA University successfully hosted the Teach & RISE Workshop on November 18, 2025, at the iconic
Pyramid of Tirana, bringing together educators, researchers, and sustainability practitioners for a highly
engaging session dedicated to transformation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship-driven education. The
workshop was co-facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja, Dr. Vilma Cekani, and PhD (c.) Anisa Isufi.
Organized within the framework of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 and the Sustainability for
Future project—an EIT Higher Education Initiative (HEI) launched by the European Institute of
Innovation and Technology (EIT)—the event focused on strengthening educators’ capacity to integrate
sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking into higher education teaching practices.
Preparing students for the economy of the future requires embedding sustainability at the heart of
teaching, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking. Teach & RISE is designed to equip educators with the
frameworks, methods, and mindsets needed to inspire lasting impact.
Through meaningful dialogue, practical skill-building, and collaborative learning, the workshop stands as
a testament to EPOKA University’s commitment to advancing sustainability-oriented education and
enhancing the innovation capacity of educators across Albania.
