We are proud to share that Dr.Chrysanthi Balomenou, Lecturer at Epoka University, participated in the 5th International Conference on Agriculture and Life Sciences of Albania 2030, organized and hosted by the University of Agriculture, Tirana, Albania, 3-5 November 2025.
During the conference, Dr. Balomenou presented a joint research paper titled: "Strengthening the Agribusiness Sector: The Strategic Role of Value Chains." This collaborative study was co-authored with Xara Kottara, Maria Lagou, and Dimitra Kavalleraki from the University of West Attica, and Apostolos Zaridis from the Hellenic Open University. The paper highlights the pivotal role of value chains in enhancing competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability in the agribusiness sector, mapping a new landscape of tight cooperative and close collaborative partnerships at an interdisciplinary level, contributing to the broader vision of a resilient agricultural future.
