As part of the B-FLEX 2026 – Industry Days series organized by the Yunus Center for Social Business and Sustainability in collaboration with the student club Marketing Zone, Patoko was invited to Epoka University for the second session of the series.
The event featured a dynamic fireside chat with the Founder and CEO of Patoko, Arber Kadia. The session brought together a large number of students and created an energetic and engaging atmosphere, reflecting the growing interest in technology-driven entrepreneurship and innovation.
During the discussion, Mr. Kadia shared the story behind Patoko, one of Albania’s most successful startups, explaining how the company was built and how it has expanded beyond Albania into the Balkan region. The conversation explored the challenges and opportunities of building a technology company starting from a smaller market and scaling it internationally.
A central part of the discussion focused on the transformative role of artificial intelligence, highlighting how AI is reshaping industries, redefining jobs, and creating new opportunities for businesses and societies. Mr. Kadia emphasized that the next decade will bring profound changes driven by technological advancements and encouraged students to actively engage with these developments early in their careers.
The interactive format of the fireside chat allowed students to participate actively, ask questions, and gain practical insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of technology-driven businesses.
B-FLEX 2026 – Industry Days aims to connect students with leading companies and entrepreneurs, offering them the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and to better understand the realities of today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
Epoka University would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Kadia for sharing his experiences and insights with our students and for contributing to the success of this session. His visit provided valuable inspiration for students interested in entrepreneurship, technology, and the future of business.
