Today, third- and fourth-year architecture students at Epoka University had the opportunity to attend an open lecture by Dr. Anila Xhahysa, titled “Will Your Design Plan Deform or Develop from the Construction Framework? Pogradec, a Case Study.”
As part of the Studio courses, Dr. Xhahysa, from the Department of Civil Engineering, introduced important aspects that directly influence architectural design, including seismicity, geology, hydrology, climate, energy efficiency, demography, the mixed-use zone approach, mobility and infrastructure, and emergency access.
This lecture provided students with valuable insights and encouraged them to reflect on these critical considerations while continuing to develop their projects.
